Time Sensitive Orders

If you have an order that is time sensitive, please indicate the requested ship date on your order. Orders submitted without this information will be processed with the regular lead time. Please keep in mind the handmade nature of our products. We will contact you as soon as possible if we are unable to honor your ship date request.

The Nature of Our Materials

We are proud of the reclaimed nature of our products, and that no two products will ever be exactly the same. Each piece will be unique and show natural wear from the history of time. Character and slight imperfections are inherent and to be expected from natural or reclaimed materials. Variance in color, knots, scuffs, nail holes and natural cracks are a big part of what keeps our customers coming back for more amazing pieces year after year.

Damage Claims

Second Nature by Hand makes every reasonable effort to pack only first quality merchandise with carrier approved materials. You should expect each piece to be unique and show natural wear from the history of time. Our products are not intended to look new or perfect. Character and slight imperfections are inherent and to be expected when using natural or reclaimed materials. Damages and defects must be reported within 10 business days of receipt of goods to claims@secondnaturebyhand.com. Returns must be authorized by Second Nature by Hand with the issuance of a Return Merchandise Authorization. After 10 business days have passed, the customer will be responsible for returning the items to Second Nature by Hand. In this case, shipping fees and restocking fees will be the responsibility of the customer. If there is any damage to the outer packaging of the shipment, it is important to describe the damage in writing on the delivery receipt or electronic clipboard of the carrier. Please keep all original packaging for 14 days after damage is reported.
